Since 2001, Rock/Creek has been a an avid proponent of trail-running in the Chattanooga area, establishing the regions first competitive trail races with the River Gorge 10.2 mile and Stump Jump 50k trail races. Since then, the popularity of trail-running has exploded to which R/C has responded with beautiful, well-managed races that benefit both our community and our natural surroundings.

It is the intention of Rock/Creek and the Rock/Creek Trail Series to provide the Southeast region and our local community with unique trail racing experiences for, not only top-tier athletes, but those interested in running on trails for the very first time. From the ultra-distance to the 10k and from kid's races to those gunning for the prized podium, our new Trail Series is meant to encourage, introduce, and challenge all runner's to experience the incredible trails and natural wonders in Chattanooga's backyard.

With contributions from our long-standing industry sponsors, as well as, some of our most trusted local companies, all races within the Rock/Creek Trail Series will benefit a designated non-profit organization committed to the preservation, maintenance, and protection of the land within which our races take part.
